Hey, I think this is a nice painting and definitely seems to show you have an interest in landscapes. However a logo must have good readability- even though sometimes you can get away without it, its best for something like this to design things with good readability so you dont get into the habit of not doing so. The "g" especially is lost and the tree doesn't quite read as an L. To me I see it as " Goooie". use value to accent and bring the letters forward and you can have all the subtle leaves and vines you want as long as the value shapes work strongly to create the letters you're after.
Keep painting, I like what you're up to.

Sorry for such a late response, but you're definitely on the right track! The last image conveys a great mood. Keep working on your drawing as you practice techniques like with your painting and eventually it'll all come together great.
