Hmm, I love number one, it's wonderful. But, number 2, looks sort of like you simply took a guys head, and added lady hair.. Are you using pastels?

No. They're colored pencils.

The second one is so much better ... obviously I mean aesthetically and I'm sure that was your intention. And yeah, they do look like pastels.

I would have to disagree with Darion, I think the [EDIT]SECOND[/EDIT] one is pretty childish and not very feminine at all. The first one definitely captures that feminine essence much better. The second one is ugly as sin to me :\
To be fair, I think my renditions of women would be just as bad, so I feel it's only fair to qualify my crits with that statement.

i like the second one more, it's much more stylized. at times like these i like to say screw realism. the second one is just as feminine as the first.
