Does anyone tell people about Punaji? It seems like contributing members are shrinking, not expanding.

Maybe thats your problem? I have no idea but is Cape Code a musician magnet? Being around a community of artists is tremendously helpful, if you feel cut off why not move to a place where you can fill your creative belly?

Cape Cod is pretty dead as far as local music goes. I only live here in the summers with my parents; I'm in college and this is where I grew up. I go to school in a city where the scene is more lively, also it's college so that helps. The main problem is that most of my self-advertising is done online...hopefully once I finish an album I'll be able to change that, because I can't really do live shows with the type of music I write.

Well, all I can think of is work. If you want it, get it. Success is not based on talent, talent is a myth. You got two things: dedication; and luck. You cant make plans for fortune, but you can control how much effort you put it. Effort is proportional to skill, all you can do is make sure you have enough time put into your craft to take advantage of your luck.
Look at the lives of all the most legendary musicians and artists, and the common theme is the unbelievable amounts of time they spent in practice, so if thats what you want, put in 30 hours a week. Its not a guarantee, but its your best bet, and success comes to those who gamble for it.

hey fakta, you know what i would love to see? i can't think of anything right now, but if you could find a way to do a live show with the music you create. something creative you know. start something new, i say.

I tell people, but none are really the hardcore artists that spend their days thinking/working on things, so they wouldn't post anyways.
Also, I am alive, I've been making art here and there, but i've been busy working and my scanner is no longer hooked up right now, because I'm too lazy to unpack it. It's sitting like 10 feet away from me right now. One of these days...
