That one is soo epically much better than the last ones. Progress Get!
Is the green an artifact of the photo or is there actually green in the pic?

The pastels are green, but the paper is white.

Are these multiple renditions of the same image?

I think the biggest thing that's off is the contour of the face. In the green pastel one the proportions make her face too narrow, and in the color pastel one, the face is too round. I think you nailed the angle on the green pastel one, definitely the more times you draw this the closer it's getting to perfection.

I think a 4th version should do the trick. Great stuff all around

Yes, all of these are separate drawings. This is today's installment. I think this one turned out much better. Most likely because I was using something I could erase with. And erase I did. When I was scanning it I realized the bottom lip (maybe both lips) aren't quite right. I'll probably fix random things later today. I just need you folks to tell me what random things need fixing.

    ha sweet, love the freckles

u should add some crosshatching with the dark sharpie to make a third tone in between the blue and black, id like to see that i think it would add that dimension to really make it pop, maybe next time

post some more already - we take our pace and tone from you leader :)

very nice work, and yeah also diggin the freckles.
my favourite part is where your blue strokes overlap each other, i dunno why, just comes off really cool and adds some texture i guess.

The shadow tone is red marker overlayed with the highlighter.

i really like the circular head and the way the face is and the way its put into the head

its very different than your usual style it seems, but i really like it

simple, graphic and cartoonish - not a bad look! - very stylized - i want more like that

I feel like these could benefit from a sharper pencil. They look a little scraggly due to the thicker line thickness, and lack of variety IN that thickness. The shit you're laying down though is top notch, even if you feel out of the swing of things, it'll come back quick.

And I absolutely love the blue eye. That's probably my fav.
