The proportions and muscle structure in the poses is kinda wonky, but they've got a lot of personality which is cool.

I really like the look of the water color thogh, although I'd prefer the line work to be a little neater and less chaotic. It's all very flat and confusing, there's no sense of depth to it, which I think would help this kind of piece greatly.

I dunno if it's what you wanna hear, but I actually LOVE it how it is. It's so effective with the flat colour behind it, the figure pops and it just makes it so much more emotional. To me, the picture is already finished and perfect. It's beautiful!

    BILLL!

this is like halfway there man, you've got a mix of awesome volume and likeness and then some poorly translated areas like on the eyes and then it's overdetailedified which is a major killer of likeness

I suggest doing another one actually. you're familiar with him enough now to be able to really go in and analyze some of the finer points that don't really resemble the ref or might resemble the reference but altogether are not executed in such a way as that they would contribute towards a holistic readability and clarity of the portrait. get in there and be a draftsman with some construction lines to fix the glasses your second time around and check all the angles man it is gonna be grand!
