i got me some grapes today
That's tight as hell!
i like you solitaire
yeah man, these are awesome, really remind me of ren and stimpy, which i love. more!
Damn, even better!
Beautiful.
Thanks, Darion. Hey, have you anything to show? It's been a while since I've seen anything from ya. I want to see, pretty please.
david, i love love love love that, especially the way you did the fur
Wow David, that is fucking tight!
so boss. love the claws, like a koala
plz color it?
Lol ... I will David, very soon :)
david that is sickawesome. Looks more like a bear than a koala to me, will.
that's probably because it is a bear :P
Good stuff dave, you have some of the nicest contours I've seen 'round these parts. I wish I could be so confident with line like that.
David, I could see you being a very great illustrator one day/ sometime in your lifetime/ now.
That seems a bit far-fetched. Thank you, but yeah, I don't think I'm anything special.
Unless you do ALOT of drawing that you don't show us- more than doodling- then the only thing stopping you is your output. That and really finishing things. You've definitely got style, and a good bit of technique. Your work has lost any trace of amateur-ity that it had say maybe a little less than a year ago.
Just more practice? what the hell man, that is freaking amazing!

I can't log on at home for some reason :(

wip for pj's contest entry, not sure if i'll finish or not
david!
I dig the drawing moreso than the painting..
don't get me wrong, I totally understand what you were doing,
though your lines have such character, that I think you underestimate.
damn damn so much eye candy,
i gotta agree with zach, i think the drawing has more charm to it. but if you continue the painting, prove me wrong. both beautifully done either way.
and xion man, that first one has a really cool style. i pictured a noir graphic novel to be honest. really digging the simplicity in the face.
adam, in terms of colors, keep doing what you're doing. very nice combos in all your pieces. i think for the piece, you could move the chin to our left a bit more. for a 3/4, it's a little skewed but i do that all the time, so i'm one to talk.
more fellas
ooh, you're right gnarf, it does look off now that i look at it! thanks.
i'm glad you like my color choices, i worked pretty hard on em'. i'll fix him up asap!
@david, i like them both equally. the drawing has such style and character, and the painting has nice form and good volume at this stage. keep it up!
Punaji. I thought I'd lost you...

I got this Yudu thing, it's a screen printing kit that uses emulsion to make stencils.. pretty superfluous, but fun. That was my test design I made for it, fairly happy with it, and with the the resulting pull.. I'm gonna upload lotsa arts soon..
That looks cool, but I personally find the boombox contrasting with the rest of the piece, it looks so simple and cheap, looks like he is holding a piece of paper with a boombox painted on it :P
Dunno, maybe add more volume to the boombox so it does not contrast with the rest of the piece?
gotta agree with miguel on the boombox. also, the blurriness of the background circles is kinda distracting to me but that looks like an easy fix and once it gets printed on a shirt, that won't matter. lookin cool tho

Working on a little character to try and learn animation with Blender. I've given up on texturing, so I'm using materials instead. I've got it rigged, I have my storyboard basically planned out. Next step will be to figure out keyframing and stuff.

still life with pastels, kind of boring
