You've got some nice stuff there Atnas, but on the troll/goblin character, he could use a little bit more dimension. Right now he looks extremely flat, there's no suggestion of 3-dimensional space on him.

yeah! thanks quark. I really need to be bolder with shadows. I think I try to represent the object more analytically than realistically. I gotta work towards the step that comes after knowing the image, rendering it.

Whooo! Another design.. This one for the Ultimate Frisbee team's jerseys for my team.. Simple, but I like it. This is just a first draft, so changes will probably be made. I will scan my moleskine sometime.

@DancinBoogieMan: It looks good, but I think it would be better without an ambiguously shaped left hand. Fingers can add a lot to direction and emotion of a figure.

As promised, I scanned a bit from my moleskine.. really it's just a portrait, but it's a step in the right direction. I'm fairly proud of this, and I think it's one of my my successful portraits to date, which is exciting.
