Well, as I showed in Scraps, I decided to just work with a random word and make one photoshop picture a day, for as long as I can keep it up, in order to get better. I really want to work on speeding up my workflow and even more importantly, my grasp of photoshop and digital painting in general.

So, for each piece, I'm starting with a 1000x1000px canvas and going to town with a random word picked from This Site and then I make a picture based on that word.

    01: Monster

    02: Mudguard

These pieces are considered excercises, and therefore, as much as I appreciate comments, would like you to do your best to point out flaws and things I should work on. Thanks!

First one, belly looks flat due to laying down of lighter color without regard for form.
Far leg feels kind of weak?
    Face is awesome.

Mewest one, bottom half looks top-down, rest looks side-on.
Not fond of how the white on the helmet blends into the bg so much.
    Think mud could be shinier.
    Love the top half.

    03: Flashlight

Pretty weak one, but today's been an excruciatingly long day.

I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out. I know there are some clashing rendering styles here. But that's ok.

Another shitty one, but I really don't wanna keep working on it.

this is a really sweet idea man, keep going with it. i think it really gets you to think more abstractly, which i love some of these ideas. i may actually give something similar a try...in your respect monsieur
