I want to animate her when I finish. I've never animated anything this big.

Update. I didn't see edit. I don't know if I can still animate this. :x -
I kind of preferred the original. The armor looks a bit messy now, with a seemingly illogical texture, and the likelihood of seeing it actually animated seems to have decreased. :(
The original version was basically perfect in every way, though. I love it.

Leave the armor more basic, keep most of those lines out, and do not try to shade before you animate. I really like the piece, though, I like the direction you're taking it but don't want the prospect of animation to be lost.

i like that robot a lot, i think it flows moreso than any of your other pieces. the page with your name and the ugly sapling are really nice too, especially the uppermost eye on that first one. looking good though man, i don't want to sound real nitpicky. as for the dog looking things, they're way too stiff and somewhat overworked to me. try lessening the line count and the line quality by thickening the lines where shadows are expected and thinning them out as you come closer to the light. if those are done with pen, use some cross hatching techniques to fill in the shadows.

Yeah, the sketchiness of stuff and line quality is something I've been trying to address for a while now, which is why I did the robot in the first place (but it's sooo hard!). I really hate the way all my stuff seems to come out all sketchy, but that's the only way I know, really.
I'm also finding 3/4 faces very hard. halp?

I have some crits for you, but the thing is that all the misproportions and other little things you have actually make the drawing.
I guess the main things are the eye heights, the way too manly nose and the lips being off. It is supposed to be female right?

Hah I didn't mean it like that. It's obvious that it was feminine, but with the nose I didn't know if it was a feminine man or a woman with a not so female nose.

Game maker is pretty easy, I think. Or at the very least, it's not hard. Pretty much everything you need to know is in the help file, and you can learn alot from other's editable games, too.

those videos are rad mate. the megaman animation is pretty slick to. i like the detail of the flashes on the armour from the blasts. my only gripe about the panda would be the colours, but guess that's just personal taste. i think it could look alot stronger with a darker skin colour and maybe even a lighter white on the head/stomach? it's great though. looking forward to seeing the game completed :D

The panda I colored like that because I was tired of plain black & white pandas. Might make some more anims for him later tho.

anatomically wise.. and I feel like a broken record.. but it never hurts to really focus on structure of the human bodybut I really feel like this is a nice improvement

I'm kinda pissed since I'd completely finished Terror Raven (second from the end) and my computer up and crashed and when I came back to it his legs were just scribbles again. I don't know what to do with the big dude either.I also could've sworn I'd posted these here before

and knowing you like to animate, xion, i recommend the animator's survival kit by none other than richard williams. ~$25 is a steal

Don't know if you cats remember this dude, but yar, there's a redesign since I'm feeling more inclined to actually maybe do something with it soonish.
There's also my Secret Santa present to Jad which I feel sort of proud of. Kind of nsfw.
