Gran Tarino isn't racist. Clint Eastwood's character is. I liked it a lot, although it did start to feel like Eastwood's "brute force and ignorance" way of dealing with people was getting to be a one trick pony.

I honestly loved the racism, It's good to see a film that doesn't try to be all politically correct and shit. Although his growling was reminiscent of batman's, and the chinese actors weren't that great.

Just watched The Man From Earth. A dude tries to convince a bunch of professors, who are also his good friends, that he is a caveman. Good stuff, that. Although the reactions of the dude's friends pissed me off because they got so hot and bothered so damn fast. Kind of unrealistically upset I guess. At least some of them. Anyway, good movie.

I just finished watching every episode of My So Called Life and before that was Freaks and Geeks. I love great shows that only last a season or two, with all their potential still intact, but it's sort of bittersweet when I've cycled through all the episodes. Right as I feel a connection to the characters, right when I get to the point that I just want to stay at home and watch these characters live and develop, it's over.
Also, something that's weird. Jason Segel, who plays Nick in Freaks and Geeks, Eric in Undeclared, and Marshall in How I Met Your Mother always has a love interest whose name begins with L. Lindsay, Lizzie, Lily.

my so called life is a fantastic show, but i have never gotten around to watching freaks and geeks. we have the entire show at work, i should probably pick that one up. ive heard great things about it.

Watched Paprika again. It made alot more sense the second time through.
Also watched Blood: The Last Vampire, which I'd seen most of before but had thought I only saw the end because it's so damn short. Rad movie, though.
Also watched Vantage Point. Woah. What an intense movie. Holy awesome.

Push was kind of...
They set up this cool seeming universe and limited it to a movie. It would have been much better in a game or book or tv series form, where the universe could have been more expanded upon. As it was it just seemed kind of like an extra-long episode from a sci-fi series. Feh.
The Pink Panther 2 was funny. That's about it.
Honestly though I would have much rather seen Taken and Coraline. Those are like, the two movies out right now that I really wanna see.

I watched Lars and the Real Girl. In the film Lars (Ryan Gosling) orders and falls in love with a "blow-up" doll. I liked it a lot.
