I remember making this thread months, maybe years ago, but I just found the audio recording that I made and I thought I'd revive it. I still sound the same.

So basically, record yourself speaking for 10-20 seconds (or however long you want). If you don't know what to say, I'd recommend going to any article on wikipedia and reading the first few lines (which is what I did, which is why my clip is about the Battle of Midway).

To upload/embed, I just used mediafire, because I actually forgot how I did it last time. Help?

my hank hill wasn't quite spot on here, but I think got dale pretty close. I can actually do all the characters in King of hill. Most of the family guy characters.

edit: you'll have to turn it up, the sound quality is shoddy.

    Dorsa: :)

To the fellas: a pair of headphones easily become a microphone once inserted into the headphone jack of your pc.

I suppose that makes sense based on how microphones work, but wow, I never thought something like that would actually work. Crazy crazy idea there Josh. I have to try that out now.

EDIT: Wow, it does indeed work, albeit in a very crude way. I didn't know that computers had the capability to do that. It would probably depend on what kind of headphones you were using too.

I am much older than I look.

It's strange going to bars and instantly becoming the center of attention because I look 15. I've learned my way around the "You look so young!" conversations pretty well by now.

And your impressions are pretty impressive. I'm horrible with impressions. It's hard for me to tell stories about what's happened to me in person as well as other people can tell them because of my terrible impersonations.

    The Fall

Love: we seek it, want it—need it. For a time we embrace it, feel a close connection to the one we share it with. We feel invincible, capable of anything. We are flying, reaching the highest of human emotions. Soaring on the wings of inexplicable happiness, we are without the slightest notion of doubt. We are in love.
With love comes the fall. It is one of the most exciting and exhilarating feelings a person can experience. Your heart races, full of life: falling. We fall without hesitation, confident that we will be caught by the comforting embrace of a lover. We are weightless. We are not afraid.
Love is a dangerous thing. It holds you, rapt. It consumes everything in our lives, makes it impossible to live without… and with its loss, we find ourselves falling again. There is nothing more painful than the fall experienced when love is gone. In our moments of passionate freedom, we have come too close. The wings we once soared upon burn up. And so, we fall. We fall endlessly, through the void of loss. We crash into the sea, helpless.
We drown in the melancholic despair that surrounds us on all sides. We drown… in silence. There is an eerie calm that fills the darkness. There is nothing, except the quiet reminder that we have fallen. Try as we may to scream, silence remains. No one is there to hear it. No one is there to save us.
In the solitude we may find comfort. Time passes, hearts heals, and we pick ourselves up again. Love is fleeting, but it is not impossible. We cannot fear the fall, nor should we fear to fly again. Even the strongest of wills cannot resist the fall. It is an inevitability. But it is essential. It makes life worth living. And it is what makes love worth finding again.

Hahaha, oh lord josh that made me laugh. I remember hearing dorsas clip a long long time ago too. Travis, I did not expect that voice at all, I wouldn't really expect to know what anyones voice here sounds like anyways. I've only ever spoken to Darion, Zach, and Scott. That was all really long ago though. I only ever spoke to Scott over skype when he lived in canada. I called zach one day while he was playing warcraft and I think I was interupting his dungeon or something.

My friends laptop has a mic on it so I can do one later. :D

But of course, if you don't have flash installed, you sound strikingly like Bob Saget.. You just won't tell us that.
